Case #03892515.
I am using the free version of Veeam to run a backup to a NAS via a PowerShell script. This works fine for all my VM's bar one. One fails with an error message of "Failed to call wmi method 'ConvertToReferencePoint'. Wmi error: '32768'
Failed to convert snapshot to referencePoint snapshot path '\ABC-HOST\root\virtualization\v2:Msvm_VirtualSystemSettingData.InstanceID="Microsoft:BDC65F6E-2A00-4A9B-9FD0-C6A0E70A7C52"'. "
It creates a checkpoint but with no option to delete.
If anyone has knowledge of how to delete these checkpoints and what is causing the initial issue that would be great. Thanks

Re: Unable to delete checkpoints
Hi Mark.
Any chance that you are on Veeam B&R 9.5 update2(build 9.5.0.1038) or earlier?
In that case it really looks like a known issue.
Thanks!

Re: Unable to delete checkpoints
Thanks for the quick response.
I have updated to 9.5.4.2866 and will run the backup later to check.
