Veeam 8 error with hyper V and VSS

having issues with Hyper V CSV cluster using the Dell EqualLogic hardware provider. We get the following warning. Opened a ticket with Veeam support but not getting any where on the resolution. (Case # 00810061)

Installed Dell HIT kit on each Cluster node. Per Dell, nothing else to setup for VSS hardware provider.

Task details: Unable to create snapshot Dell EqualLogic VSS HW Provider on "host" (mode: Veeam application-aware processing). Details: Failed to add volume [\\?\Volume{0f66f716-2e1f-4aca-b51c-fcef31e8787a}\] to the VSS snapshot set
The shadow copy provider had an error. Check the System and Application event logs for more information.
--tr:Failed to add volumes to the snapshot set.
--tr:Failed to perform pre-backup tasks.

What is the state of that VSS writer if you check it via command prompt? Also can you check Windows event log for more info about the issue?

The issue was resolved given permissions issue on the Equal Logic volumes and HIT.

Can I ask what permissions you changed on the EqualLogic Volumes because I have just implemented Backup & Replication and got the exact error message as you have posted above.
