Hey all,
I just installed win 10 pro on a dell t3500 loaded with memory and SSDs.
Fresh install.
Just installed VEEAM and it won't find my running VM to add to the backup list.
Just blank.
Jobs>Backup>Virtual Machine>default backup job 1 name>next>
under Virtual machines to backup:
There is nothing.
I click Add... and there are no machines that show up there either.
Please help.
I've reinstalled win10pro and downloaded veeam again and same thing.
I could really use some help.
Thanks

Re: Veeam backup new install won't find my VMs
Hi Michael, you need to add your Hyper-V host to Veeam B&R console first. Also please note that Windows 10 is not supported as a hypervisor (if that is the case).

Re: Veeam backup new install won't find my VMs
I have added the server to the managed servers under Microsoft Hyper-V
The server shows up as type: microsoft hyper-v server created by my admin account.

Then you should see the VMs residing there when creating a new job. If this is not the case, feel free to contact support for a closer look.
