Veeam Backup & Replication error

Post by dhayes16 »

Hello All. We are backing up (7) VM's under Hyper-V running on a Windows 2019 server. Running 9.5 Update 4A. The repo is a QNAP nas with 10TB of storage. All was going great. But now we are receiving backup error for all VM's indicating "Error: Cannot proceed with the job: existing backup meta file 'GECHOSTA VMs.vbm' on repository 'QNAP Repo1' is not synchronized with the DB. To resolve this, run repository rescan"

When we run he repository rescan we get the following error and it fails.
"Veeam Backup & Replication error Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1."

An ideas?
Thanks
