Veeam backup server as VM in HyperV

Hi,

Is Ethan here, I am new to the community.
I need some advise here about Veeam backup server, where it run as a VM in the HyperV.

Now, the question is like this:
1) There is a FC SAN running now in the environment and the tape library is connecting using FC as well. Can I do the backup copy job to the tape library via the FC connection?

and welcome to the forums.

Yes, the backup-to-tape job can use the fibre channel tape connection. Just install the tape role to the Hyper-V server and make sure that the connection to the tape works.
