Veeam causes Bluescreen on Clusternode

Dear NC,
i have a Hyper-V 2012R2 Cluster with two nodes and latest Microsoft Patchlevel. All Drivers are same Versions on both Nodes. Veeam ist v8 Patchlevel 1 from Dezember 2014.
On one of the Nodes Veeam causes a Bluescreen during the Backupprocess. I checked the memory.dmp and see that tcip.sys causes the Crash. I also opened up a Support Case with Microsoft Support to analyze the Dump more deeply. MS identified the Veeam Agent as the Process that causes the Crash and told me to uninstall all Veeam Components. I did so and after that everything works normal - no more Crash of that Clusternode. Anybody an Idea on this....?

Hello Bernd,
Have you contacted Veeam technical support as well? If yes, please provide a support case number. I believe logs review is needed here for the best issue investigation.

Also do you use software or hardware VSS providers to make backups?

Morning,
I did not open up a Case with Veeam yet. I first want to get sure, that neither the OS nor the Hardware or Drivers cause the Problem.

Yes, i use the Software VSS Provider.

This are quit old Updates, but yes, they are all installed.

Ok, in this case, let our support team take a look at your infrastructure and see the reason what's casing this BSOD.

evicting and re-installing the crashing node did at the end the trick for me.
