Veeam Community config backup failure

Hi All,

We have a Veeam Community licensed server backing up a few Hyper-V VM's and using VeeamZip for some others.
The config backup has recently started failing. I've checked the log at:

C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\Backup_Configuration_Job\Job.Backup_Configuration_Job.Backup.log

And everything goes well until:
[22.05.2020 15:53:05] <01> Info [DB] [SQL|ERROR] SELECT COUNT_BIG(*) FROM [dbo].[Tombstones.Backups]
[22.05.2020 15:53:05] <01> Info [DB] [SQL|ERROR] GO
[22.05.2020 15:53:05] <01> Error Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. (System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException)

The database is running in SQL express The Tombstones.Backup table is huge

Any way we can shrink it? or stop the timeout?
