Veeam File-level Restore / Preserve permissions and ownership

Hello,

the checkbox Preserve permissions and ownership does not work. If i leave the checkbox unchecked, the restored files still have the original permissions.

Is there another option or is it a bug?

Hello,

If you need the user who launched the Veeam Backup & Replication console to become the owner of the restored object.
The access permissions should be inherited from the target folder where you put the restored file.
If it does not work as it's described in the guide, I would recommend you to open a Support case.
Please share your Support case ID when you open it, so we could monitor your issue.
