Veeam - How to disable the backup for 1 node?

Post by stevendahdah »

Dear All,

I have Veeam Backup and replication software, i added the cluster to it.

The idea i want to disable the backup for one node in the cluster.

I could not find a way to remove it. I can only remove the cluster server.

Is there a way to disable the backup for one hyper V in Veeam Backup and replication?

Hi,

So, you've added Hyper-V cluster (how many nodes by the way?) to Veeam console and now you want to be able to backup from all but one nodes, is that correct? May I ask you why do you need that?

Thank you

Well i have in the cluster 5 nodes.

Already veeam backup is backing up all nodes.

But there is a node is for testing i want to disable the backup for it. It is taking so much space.

Steven, how do you add VMs in the backup jobs? You could add that node in exclusions, I suppose.
