Hello. We have a couple Hyper-V VM's where there are "Veeam Recovery Checkpoints" as the virtual disk. The option to delete it is not in the GUI.
One of these VM's has a very large disk and we are concerned about deleting.
How do we delete/merge these VM's safely?
Thanks
Dave

Re: Veeam Recovery Checkpoint - Delete
Hi dhayes16,
You should be able to remove them with Powershell like normal (Remove-VMSnapshot), but you may need to temporarily power off the machine for it to go through, so probably plan a maintenance window.
However, Veeam cleans these up automatically and there will be an error if the checkpoint cleanup fails, so probably it's best to review the backup job history with Veeam Support to understand why the clean up failed.
