Hello,
we installed Veeam Backup and Recovery on out windows storage server 2008 which has some NFS-Shares fpr Linux-machines.
We found that the shares weren`t working because of the "Veeam vPower NFS Server". After we stoped the process and disabled the service, everything seems to be running fine.
We use Veeam only for Hyper-V servers, not for ESXi.
Are there any limitations while using Veeam B and R or problems if we leave this service disabled?
Could someone tell me for what this service is used?
Best regards
Roland

Re: Veeam vPower NFS Service Windows Server Hyper-V
Hello Roland,
Veeam vPower NFS Server gives you an ability to use "Instant VM Recovery" feature for VMware environments, so if your VI is Hyper-V only, then feel free to disable this service.
For additional info, please check our User Guide (page 120).
Thank you!
