When configuring virtual-Lab production network from host isn't displayed

Hello,

I would like to configure a virtual lab. For this purposes I would like to use the Backupserver, wich has got the hyper-V role, as a standalone Host. I can choose the backup-server but when I'm configuring the proxy network-settings the production network is not displayed. What could be the reason?

Hi Stephan,

It's difficult to say what is the reason without examination of debug logs, probably the network is not returned on the corresponding WMI-request but it's just a wild guess. Please open a support case and let our engineers to investigate the issue in your environment, don't forget to provide us with a support case ID.

I don't want to say that it's related to the problem we're discussing in this topic but just want to share that it's not recommended to install Veeam on the Hyper-V server:

You must not install Veeam Backup & Replication directly on a Hyper-V host. Such installation may lead to unpredictable system behavior. Instead, install Veeam Backup & Replication on a VM on the host.

Just a quick update to the thread for the community - it was a configuration issue, Hyper-V did not have any Network Switches configured, thus Veeam had no networks to display.
