Where do CSV snapshots get their space from?

Trying to get my head around CSV / VSS volume snapshots. If VEEAM instructs VSS to create a CSV snapshot, what free space is used to store the delta's on? Is there a way I can monitor that free space?

Hi,

Shadow Copies use a storage that is associated with a particular volume. You can change that association using vssadmin, and set limit on the maximum amount of storage space that can be used.
