which server choose to be proxy in Veeam

Hello Guys.
First of all sorry for my english.

If i have to choose a server to be proxy server of veeam wich i must use.
Intel Xeon E5405 @ 2.0Ghz with 16 GB of Ram or Intel Xeon X3430 @ 2.40Ghz with 8 Gb Ram ( In this last i can do the upgrade to 12 or 16).

Manuel, please review proxy server system requirements. The spec mostly depends on the size of your environment and the number of concurrent tasks you're going to assign to the proxy server (each task requires a single core and additional 200MB of RAM).

Thanks for you answer , i forgot to explain, i'm using Cluster of Hyper-v .
The requirements of VMWARE proxy server are the some to Hyper-v ?

If i understand well the infrastructure of veem, is a server where i install the software to do the backup's, and other server to be a proxy server , and a san or NAS to be backup repository ? is that ?

System requirements for Hyper-V environments are slightly different. Additionally, you should decide on whether you're going to use off-host backup or not.
