Re: Windows Server 2012
Windows 2012 will be supported after it becomes generally available and our QC team verifies that Veeam B&R is working as it should. Thanks!

Re: Windows Server 2012
Hi,
Windows 2012 is available since last week from VLSC, TechNet and MSDN subscribers. Enterprise are already deploying it.
Do you have a timeframe for Veeam Backup compatibility with Windows 2012
Thanks

They'd better not rush as even Microsoft itself does not support Hyper-V 3.0 in most products yet > Hyper-V 3.0 tools won't emerge until System Center 2012 SP1SebDom wrote:Enterprise are already deploying it.

Re: Windows Server 2012
Coming from an entire HyperV based environment, I absolutely cannot wait for 2012 support, so long as all those promises of CSV improvements are true! I've fought backups for quite some time with different solutions. Things got better with 2008 R2, but they're nowhere near where they should be(especially with backups). It's an absolute nightmare managing backups based on specific CSVs and ensuring only a single node is backing up on a particular CSV at that point in time.
Once we can actually run concurrent backups with multiple hosts accessing the same CSV, my life will be that much better! I'm a younger sysadmin who always thought VMware would be a decent investment as that's what I used back in school, now I can finally be happy with HyperV and how cheap it is, lol.
Server 2012 support can't come soon enough for me, but I'm patient
