Windows Server Setup - REFS

Hi all,

Let's say I purchase a Dell Server and use Windows 2022.

Then I create a VM on the physical server to act as my Veeam B&R server.

On this VM I then want to add a volume to act as the repository for the backups.

If I want to use refs, is it the volume on the VM that I set as refs, or a volume on the physical host?

Hi, you can do either, we support both scenarios. Just a matter of what you designated to be your backup repository (the VM or the physical server in question). Thanks
