Hi,
I'm using Veeam Monitor version 5.0 and i recently changed all my esxi server passwords because of a security issue at the company.
Now when I launch Veeam Monitor I get "Could not connect to Veeam monitor server specified in options > client settings"
I have checked the server name and its fine, also in server settings it says Collector is fine, DB is fine and licence is fine.
Any idea's?
Shaun

Re: Could not connect to Veeam monitor server
Hello Shaun,
Could you please tell me if you are connecting through vCenter Server or using direct ESXi host connections? On top of that, what is the exact error message you see if you right-click on the particular host in Veeam Monitor server?
Thanks!

Re: Could not connect to Veeam monitor server
Hi,
I am just using the Veeam monitor .......
Normaly Vsphere client if I wanted to make any changes to the VM's or the esxi settings, but I only want to monitor the VM's so wanted to continue to use Veeam Monitor
So I guess im connecting direct from Veeam monitor to the ESXi's...
I don't see any hosts at all, when I double click on Veeam monitor before it even loads it says..
"Could not connect to Veeam Monitor Server specified in Options > Client Settings"

Re: Could not connect to Veeam monitor server
Shaun,
It would be best if you could contact our support team, though before that I would also try to specify the IP address of the Veeam Monitor Server defined in Options->Client Settings, then restart Veeam DCS service and re-run the application.
Thank you!
