I am having issues with the disk space reporting on the datastores of an ESXi5 host.
It seems that changes to the disk provisioned and free space do not seem to be updating unless I manually refresh the datastores either from the vShphere client or via vim-cmd calls.
Any suggestions ?

Re: Datastore Disk Space Refresh
Datastore free space statistics is not retrieved as often as we do for performance counters, because this kind of info is pretty static all the time, however there is no need to refresh anything manually. I would appreciate if you could open a support ticket and let us investigate this issue further.

Re: Datastore Disk Space Refresh
I've had a bit more time to investigate on this end. Seems that the VSphere Client is not getting updated either, so this may be an ESXi issue rather then Monitor.
Let me dig into it a bit more. I'll report back with any findings.
Thanks,
Ron
