Hardware monitoring
I recently built a new ESXi 5.0 environment with 3 ESXi hosts and a 5.0 vCenter. I added the vCenter server into my existing Veeam Monitor. Veeam Monitor is showing a hardware Warning alarm for each of the new hosts. he alarm is "Host hardware sensor status changed" with the description being "Sensor "VMware Rollup Health State" equal unknown.
Looking at the updated Hardware views in vCenter, all the Hardware sensors are reporting normal.
Any ideas?

Re: Hardware monitoring
Hi Dave,
Looks like you've faced the same situation that was described in this thread, please look it through: Intermittent Hardware Status Change Unknown
To workaround this Managed Object Browser limitation we are adding native host hardware monitoring (via CIM-XML protocol) in our next update, this should give you a much deeper visibility into host hardware sensors.
Thanks!

Re: Hardware monitoring
Cannot disclose any dates yet, but this should definitively happen this year.

Re: Hardware monitoring
I'll be at VMworld the end of August...hopefully when I stop by the Veeam booth, I'll be able to see the upgrade

Re: Hardware monitoring
There are so many cool minor and major features coming to the next update that should make you happy...CIM-XML protocol is just the beginning.
