One v8 not send email alarm VM Backup Job

I've noticed in my lab that performing VM Backup Job did not receive an e- mail from Veeam One.
I have added veeam Server > Data Protection View and watch the backup job and its status ( running , success , failed ) but nothing more .


Launched a backup intentionally , it is done but not receive mail.

However , with the rest alarm if receipt

Hello Adrian,
Does the Veeam ONE alarm itself work, is it being triggered in VeeamONE?
Are we talking about Backup job state alarm?

The alarm Backup job its ACTIVATE

Data Protection View > Task & Event appears the backup job status ok

That`s not expected.
As I understood you meant that "Jobs" tab doesn`t contain relevant information. Is it the same for "Tasks and Events"?
Are there the same problem with other jobs or just one?

Have you tried to copy any backup alarm and assign to this job? Do you see backup job state being refreshed in the Monitor Client UI?

The alarm is active.
In Veeam One> Data Protection View> Job- If it appears as Success / Failed / Warning the backup job .

But I do not receive an e- mail notification of the Backup Job.

Only the receipt because B & R> Options > Email Setting if I have active

Do you receive email notification for other alarms in Veeam ONE? Can you please post a screenshot of your alarm settings?

Yes, to another alarms i've received email. But the Backup Job alarms no.

I would try to re-create an alarm to see if it works, but that looks like a bug.

What if you select a specific email notification (add new email address) as a post alarm action? Does it work?

Ok, let's take a look at the log files then, our support team will assist you with this. I would suspect either spam filer or some outlook rules to be applied in your case, since all other notifications do work. Once you open a case, let us know your case ID.
