Remove Monitor License

We have a license of Veeam monitor for 6 sockets. Is there a way to revert back to the free version? I want this install to now monitor our dev/test esx hosts and am moving our production to a new server and will use the 6 socket license there.

Hello David,

Please remove this registry key under Veeam registry hive. This will switch Veeam Monitor into a free mode:

I tried that for Veeam Monitor 6.0 but it does not work. Server still shows the trial license.

Hi Marc,

Starting from v6 we are storing our license information in our database, that is why this registry key is no longer applicable.

Out of curiosity, could you please tell me why do you want to revert back to Veeam ONE free version?

we accidently installed an NFR key for a working environment and want to revert that back to the free license.

Oh...in this case I would suggest contacting our support team for assistance with removing the license key from our database.

The License is in table common.License. To reset to community edition on the db run:
DELETE FROM [common].[License];
