Hello,
I have one vCenter that manages one cluster with two esxi and one standalone esxi.
I would like to monitor only the esxi of the cluster, not the standalone host, also because the license is only for 4 sockets.
Is it possible to add the vCenter and exclude the standalone host from being discovered? Or do I have to add the single esxi of the cluster?
Thanks
Marco S.

Re: vCenter Discover exclusion
Hi Marco,
Yes, that's where you need to choose the monitoring scope. Excluded objects will not consume license.
