Veeam Monitor & Citrix XenApp (Presentation Server)
Just wondering if anyone out there has published Veeam Monitor as an application in Citrix.
I can't get the screen to refresh properly when used in this manner which is a real pain as it means I don't see monitor as often as my other tools.
If not, are Veeam able to tell us what API's or screen refresh methods they use so I can potentially get Citrix to help
Thanks
Mark

Mark, not sure about the API question... Veeam Monitor is regular windows application, we do not handle screen refresh ourselves. Best would be to contact Citrix and have them troubleshoot this as the issue is obviously on their side. Thanks.

Re: Veeam Monitor & Citrix XenApp (Presentation Server)
Hello,
I installed the Veeam Monitor client on my Citrix server (Presentation server 4.5) and am unable to get it to work. Did you run the Full or the Client Only install on the Citrix server?
I ran the Client only install and after rebooting the server (which install requested for native SQL to take effect) I launched the client, went to options client setup and received error.

Michael, you may want to review GUI log files to see what happens at this moment, though if it does work on regular servers, then the issue should be on Citrix side.

Not sure what logs you should look at, as I'm not a support engineer, but you may want to look through both of them:
Service log: Options -> Server Settings -> Logs and Help->About->View log
GUI log: Help->About->View Logs -> monitor.gui.log
Service log: Options -> Server Settings -> Logs and Help->About->View log
GUI log: Help->About->View Logs -> monitor.gui.log
