AHV inventory on remote console V10
Hello,
With Veeam remote console V10, I am not able to see my AHV proxy appliance and my Nutanix cluster inventory.
Is that normal ?
Regards

Re: AHV inventory on remote console V10
Is it possible, that you have to install the ahv plugin on the remote console machine?
I haven‘t updated my server yet to test this

Re: AHV inventory on remote console V10
The ahv infrastructure should be available in remote console as well. One of the possible reasons it is not visible is that remote console cannot connect to ahv service. Please contact technical support to investigate and resolve the issue. You can share the case id if you already have it, we will take a look as well

Re: AHV inventory on remote console V10
Just to add that start backup from remote console doesn’t work also
Restore and FLR work fine

Re: AHV inventory on remote console V10
I can see that the required logs are still missing, so, can you provide those?
It looks like computer running remote console cannot resolve the FQDN of backup server, but we need to check the logs to confirm this assumption.
Thanks!

Re: AHV inventory on remote console V10
Here the situation:
If I connect with the FQDN of backup server on the remote console, I see all the inventory of my AHV cluster
if I connect with the IP server f backup server I am not able to see my AHV proxy appliance and my Nutanix cluster inventory.

Re: AHV inventory on remote console V10
@bk@virtualtn.com this is the expected behavior. With v10/AHV proxy v2 name bidirectional name resolution is now a requirement between the proxy appliance and VBR see - https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/van/u ... tml?ver=20

Re: AHV inventory on remote console V10
FQDN resolve from remote console to VBR is required in v10. In uppdate 1 that will be fixed, fqdn from remote console to VBR will not be required.
