Morning All - hoping someone will now the answer to this, we are migrating to Nutanix AHV from vSphere. As our backup solution for Linux clients we are implementing a simple solution until we revisit our complete backup strategy later this quarter.
When backing up Linux clients we cannot get application consistent backups as it is missing the pre_free / post_thaw scripts, for Backup and Replication server I am aware how to allocate these to run - in Availability Suite for AHV how do we configure this (I have tried making changes to the job in the B&R console but there is limited contol of these jobs).

Re: Availability Pre_Freeze / Post_Thaw scripts
Hi Chris.
With Veeam Availability for Nutanix AHV you have 2 options:
- use Veeam to perform image-level backup and let Nutanix Guest Tools fully handle application consistency
- use Veeam Agent for Linux to perform guest-level backup with same pre-freeze\post-thaw scripts(license for agents use comes free with your Veeam Availability for Nutanix license - you are to choose which type of backup is best for you).
/Cheers!
