This would be nice to "in-line" convert a vdisk to vmdk and move the vmdk to a remote repository.
Would be an excellent feature IMO

Re: Does Veeam support across replication (ESXi -> AHV) ??
Actually, does anyone have input on these 2 line items that are in the "What's new AHV v2" document?
Entire VM restore using Veeam's universal VBK backup file format allows users to restore any virtual and physical workloads protected by Veeam to AHV clusters.
This is also bidirectional with the ability to restore AHV backups to other hypervisors.
Instant VM Recovery offers extra speed and mobility when challenged with a critical recovery scenario in a hybrid environment, allowing you to instantly spin up multiple VMs from your Nutanix AHV backups to VMware vSphere.
Is there a few chapters in a document that lay these 2 features out and how to use them in Veeam for AHV?
Just quickly picking around in our environment, I don't see these features "sticking out to me" off the top.
Should I open a support ticket to get info on this?
Thanks fellas

Thanks for that, although trying to follow along doesn't really jive exactly with my environment.
I'll pick at it a little...
Thanks
