Currently, no alerts can be configured to notify if policies are not compliant. For example, on a policy configured to backup a VM every day, the backup can fail for a week, and no alerts will be triggered in Veeam.
The ability to create compliance polices should be implemented to ensure data availability. For example, in our environment, we have some servers scheduled to be backed up every 15 minutes. If they have not been backed up in 45 minutes or more, we would want to trigger an alert.
This is a feature currently supported by other Nutanix AHV backup suites, and would really be a powerful addition to Veeam's Availability Suite for AHV.

Re: Feature Request - Compliance Monitor
Thanks for the request!
Would you like to get both "Backup failed" and "VM has no backup" alarms?
If you have more requests about alerting, please share.

Re: Feature Request - Compliance Monitor
Thanks for the quick reply, @Shestakov!
I think that it would be great to get both "Backup failed" and "VM has no backup" alarms, as you mentioned.
Ideally, we would be able to create multiple "compliance policies" of various levels of importance and assign VM's to them.
I think that combining this request with the SMTP alerting request from another post would be a powerful combination. Being able to receive email alerts when VM's fall out of our compliance policy would be fantastic!
