HI,
I just installed version 5 of Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV.
I've never had character encoding problems, now I see that notification emails are sent in UTF-16 and before they were in UTF-8.
The result is that I see Chinese characters as a summary of my backups.
Does anyone know where to change this setting?
Thank you.

Re: How to change character encoding?
From Google web mail I see the notifications correctly, while on Thunderbird I don't. Emails sent from versions 3 and 4 did not have this problem and arrived with UTF-8 encoding.

Re: How to change character encoding?
@lazman yes we did make this change in v5 to try and mitigate spam filter issues we were seeing in prior versions. There isn't a way to change this setting currently. Please open a case with support so that we can track the issue.

Re: How to change character encoding?
Thanks for the reply, I opened a ticket. I would have appreciated your use of the SMTP UTF-8 standard, or in any case some testing with the main email clients before making changes.
Now I no longer see via email if my servers are backing up.
I hope it can be resolved quickly.
I abandoned VMware because with every update from them, your software started having problems and you had to wait 1 month for the update. The alternative was to read the entire compatibility every time. I hope the problems don't start here on Nutanix with every update.
Thank you.
