Nutanix AHV DR to Hyper - V Environment
I do have a project of Nutanix AHV that needs DR. But the DR site is a Hyper - V Environment. Is it possible using Veeam? Thanks

Re: Nutanix AHV DR to Hyper - V Environment
Hi Pierce,
Unfortunately, this is not currently possible. You may want to look at StarWind V2V Converter for migration purposes, but ofc its not a feasible DR solution.
Thanks

Isn't it possible to do an Instant Recovery of an AHV backup to Hyper-V? That would give some pseudo-DR capabilities.
Another option is to backup the AHV environment with agents as Windows agents offer this instant recovery feature, as well as the ability to export volumes as VHD/VHDX.

It is, so it's indeed can be a workaround, until proper DR capabilities are there. Thanks!Isn't it possible to do an Instant Recovery of an AHV backup to Hyper-V?

Just a heads up - Instant recovery geenerates a Gen1 HyperV machine; I'd do a test before commiting to it as a solution!
