Hi,
We set up backup for Nutanix hosted servers from Nutanix AHV proxy web interface. Why is there no option to retain the backups in terms of days? I can only see the option to retain backup in terms of recover points.
Is there any other way that we can retain backups in terms of days and not recover points?

Hi Sanath
May I ask, which version are you running? V4 + V5 have both the option to keep days:

Re: Nutanix AHV servers backup retention
Hi Fabian,
We are using appliance version 3.1.36 so I guess that is why I'm not able to see that option. We are planning upgrade of Veeam backup and replication server from version 11 to 12 , so this will also get automatically upgraded to newer version right if I select the option upgarade remote components automatically?

Hi Sanath
Correct. After upgrading Veeam Backup & Replication to v12, you can upgrade your Nutanix AHV appliance v3a (3.1.36) to Version 5.
We have a lot of changes and new features in V4 + V5. Please see our release notes to learn more about them and how to upgrade the appliance from V3a to V5:
