Seems veeam appliance cannot truncate, is there a way to truncate logs, meaning i need to dismount, and do this manually ? or simulate a backup via script ?
Anyone has an idea ?

The AHV proxy uses the Nutanix guest tools (if setup properly) for VSS operations.
If this is insufficient, you can user the Veeam agent in the exchange guest (agent licenses were provided with your AHV licenses).
Of course you have your own options for scripts, etc in guest as you choose.
