Re: Request failed with status code TooManyRequests
@Amarokada please let us know if Nutanix has anything new to say on this but I suspect they'll just want to increase the threshold to 7K sessions. Curious if you're already running with the higher session threshold?

Re: Request failed with status code TooManyRequests
So far the support from Nutanix has been appalling. They arranged a zoom call (unnecessary really imo) and then didn't turn up to it. I've yet to receive any further comms from them. I've now asked them for the "usual 7k session" setting for lifting the limit for enterprise backups like Veeam to see if that jogs any ideas. We haven't ever made any changes to the Nutanix API that I know of so far.
Something I do notice is because we only backup on weekday night, the Monday backups are bigger per VM because of the weekend, and those don't tend to timeout the API, I'm thinking it gives it a bit less chatter if it's just transferring data for longer. Then as soon as Tuesday comes along we get 20+ failures per job (1400 VMs total being backed up), even after dropping the workers to 5 (2 threads each).

Some updates: Nutanix announces PC 7.3.1.2 recently. In the release notes, it mentions it resolved:
Resolved an issue where after upgrading to pc.7.3 or later versions, attempts to use the quick access feature to launch Prism Element clusters from the Prism Central web console failed with the following error message:
Failed+to+perform+operation+as+API+rate+limit exceeded
