Restore from Tape

Hello,

I would like to restore my backup to tape VM to Nutanix directly
I only have option to restore the file on a staging server / repository and then the backup appears as "imported" and I can restore the VM.

I don't have this issue with vsphere.

I would like to know :
1- Is it expected ?
2- Is it veeam feature not implemented or Nutanix limitation ?

@matteu correct this is the expected behavior only VMware and HyperV support direct from tape to virtual infrastructure https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbr/u ... tml?ver=13. I don't believe I've seen any requests for direct restore for AHV but FR noted

I need to pay more attention when I read the doc because I was on this page but didn't notice "You can restore only backups of VMware and Hyper-V virtual machines from tape to infrastructure."
