Re: SureBackup for Nutanix
+1 Would be nice
We have over 600 VM backup over different AHV Cluster - and no way to automatically test restores with Surebackup....

I'd be interested in this feature as well.

Re: SureBackup for Nutanix
I do realize it's not precisely what everyone is asking for on this thread however with VBR 12.1 along with Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV 5+ we do support the SureBackup "lite" functionality shipping with 12.1 which (among other items) enables SureBackup scheduled scans. For a full list of the new AHV functionality exposed by 12.1 see the AHV section of -https://www.veeam.com/veeam_backup_12_1 ... new_wn.pdf

Re: SureBackup for Nutanix
I have never used SureBackup before and so do not know what it can and cannot do. That said, our organization is mostly virtualized on Nutanix+AHV and would be interested learning and playing with SureBackup if AHV was treated as "first class" as VMware/ESXi. Not certain how exactly SureBackup "lite" compares to SureBackup precisely. Similarly, not sure how SureBackup lite compares to health checks - they seem similar in nature (sanity checking backup files). I'm speaking here out of an abundance of ignorance - I've never used SureBackup or RTFM'd.
Our interest would skew towards option a) "SureBackup for Nutanix AHV" meaning running virtual lab in AHV environment and executing SureBackup jobs in those labs. Of course, both options are welcomed features/capabilities for hypervisor-agnostic capabilities.

Any updates on this topic?
I have lots of customer requests around this feature.
One of them stated this morning: "That's the only feature missing for us, which block us to migrate everything from ESXi to AHV forever"
Thanks,
Lukas

@lukklin we definitely hear you all loud and clear on this one and I can assure you it is a priority for us however it will be a substantial effort and I unfortunately cannot provide any timing estimates at the moment.
