Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV v3
I see that Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV v3 is mentioned in the release notes for Veeam Backup and Replication v11a. Where are the release notes for Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV v3? Is the v3 plugin just in the plugins folder on the VBR 11a ISO?

Correct the new AHV plugin is on the 11a ISO. As far as I'm aware there is no separate set of release notes for the new plugin beyond what is listed in the early access KB https://www.veeam.com/kb4215

Re: Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV v3
We decided to be a little crazy and to go for it.
Upgrade seemed to go well but proxy kept going "Backup server unreachable" afterward. It's actually a minor issue, for both proxy it deleted the dns server configuration, once you put the ip back it fix itself right away.

Hi Algent, out of curiosity, how does the upgrade work? Is a new AHV proxy being deployed or does the existing proxy remain intact and be upgraded?

Same here for me with the GA release.
The upgrade deletes the manual dns configuration.
After doing the dns configuration in the AHV Proxy gui again, everything is good.

Re: Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV v3
When you update to Veeam V11a, the AHV Plugin will be updated on the server. After the vbr update, go to backup infrastructure, then to backup Proxys. There you can right click on the ahv proxy to upgrade the appliance to the new version.tedsteenvoorden wrote: ↑Oct 04, 2021 6:23 am Hi Algent, out of curiosity, how does the upgrade work?
