Hi guys,
Are there any known issues with Nutanix and Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5.4.2753? I want to know because I'm planning to update my Veeam from 9.5.0.1922 to 9.5.4.2753. Anyone running the two combinations?
Regards,
Frank

Re: Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5.4.2753 and Nutanix AHV
The only thing to know before updating to Veeam B&R Update 4 and above, Nutanix Backups will consume your B&R instance License.
It does not matter that Veeam Nutanix AHV has its own license. Nutanix AHV Backup to a B&R Update 4 and above server will consume Instances.
Example:
You have an Veeam B&R Server for your vSphere or HyperV Backups with 15 vms. This Server has a 15 instance License after updating to Veeam Update 4a.
You have a Nutanix Cluster with 20 VMs (with Veeam AHV License for 20 VMs).
If this Server is also the Target Server for your Nutanix Backups, the 20 vms from AHV Backup will consume instances from your B&R Server. With Veeam B&R Standard, AHV VM will consume 60 Instances (20 VM x 3 Instances)
For us, this has generated a lot of problems.

I agree take care of licenses had also issues, had to jump temporally to trial instance licensing.
how does it work for a dual VMware/socket and AHV/instance installation?
One regression I have found is that you cannot have the Nutanix job status anymore in the B&R console by clicking on it.

Hi Imbutault
I can not look at the job status either, if I'm using Jobs view in Veeam B&R.
But I can control the status of every single VM in the "Last 24 hours View"
