Veeam upgrade

Hi Everyone,

I'm planning to upgrade veeam backup and replication software from version 11 to version 12. When checked with support engineer they have mentioned that we just need to install the ISO image and all other remote components like nutanix proxy,nutanix plugin, Veeam agent for windows,mac and linux, cloud plugins everything will be automaticallu upgraded when we select the option "automatically upgrade remote components''.
I just wanted to know if this is the case and we don't have to manually upgrade any plugins or proxies.I am new to Veeam and it will be of huge help if I get clarity on this upgrade process
