Hi,
im trying to filter the traffic beween VeeamB&R server, Nutanix cluster and Veeam AHV Proxy Server.
Based on Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV 3.0 User Guide, i allowed traffic on port 10006 from "AHV Proxy Server" to "VeeamB&R server".
But i found that "VeeamB&R server" keep start a session with the "AHV Proxy Server" using a source port 10006 and a generic destination ports, there ports are used on the next session by the AHV proxy server to reach VeeamBackup server.

Re: VeeamB&R and AHV Proxy via firewall
Your observations are correct Source port will be randomly selected. 10006 is a fixed destination port of Veeam Backup & Replication
