I've been fighting some issues with AHV and Veeam have kindly opened 5 tickets to try and tackle them all.
One thing I haven't reported on in those tickets is the fact all of my backups jobs stopped automatically running for some reason. I would be watching the VB&R console and see each job go past it's scheduled start time and do nothing. There doesn't seem to be a particular Veeam service that handles the scheduling (I could be wrong) so I rebooted the whole VB&R server.
This morning it dawned on me that perhaps the scheduler runs on the AHV appliance since I think that is a master controller for AHV backups right? The Veeam console is just a window into what's configured there? Anyway I rebooted the AHV appliance today as well, let's see if tonight's jobs run automatically.
It would be good to know where the scheduler does run and if there would be a way to check it's working right, or restart it.

Re: Where is the job scheduler in AHV backups?
Correct the jobs are initiated from the AHV appliance. If you ever need to restart the main Veeam service on the appliance it's - $ sudo systemctl restart veeamahvbackup
