Long Term Quarterly GFS Backups

Since the new version of Veeam, I realize the quarterly GFS option is gone. Ive got a client that has a 7 year retention, and we currently have their GFS set to offload to the cloud for 4 weeklys, 12 monthly, and 7 yearly. They want less holes in their long term backups, and want to enable quarterly backups for the whole 7 years. What's a strategy I can do to accomplish this since the quarterly backup option is no longer available? Thanks

Correct, quarterly backups are not possible for backup or backup copy jobs.
I recommend to use monthly backups for 7 years and offload those monthly and yearly backups to archive object storage (AWS S3 Glacier, Azure Archive Storage) for saving money on storage costs.
