After Uprade to v10 RTM lost access to S3 Storage minio based
We're using several minio based object storages at our own and serveral customer locations as capacity tier. This worked fine.
Today I upgraded my private Test Installation to v10 RTM. After this the object storage is no longer accessable. The error message is: "Failed to get Amazon S3 Compatible archive folders: Mismatching region access attempt: veeambackup. Bucket veeambackup must be addressed using region us-east-1 instead of veeambackup.
Is it neccessary to rename the Bucket?

No, it's not required. Something is definitely off, could be a bug with v10 or with the upgrade procedure: judging on the error, for some reason the bucket name is passed as the region name. Please open a support case, so we could take a look. Thanks!

Thanks, because I was already asked for logs by someone! BTW, if it's an upgrade scripts bug, then we should be able to fix it with the config database edits.

Re: After Uprade to v10 RTM lost access to S3 Storage minio based
Interim fix for me is:
During Setup with v9.5 I've specified a Dummy Value of Region "DE", which worked fine.
After Upgrade to v10 RTM I see the value has changed to "veeambackup".
Inside minio is no region specified.
After Upgrade the specified error occurred.
It's possible to specify a region.
https://docs.min.io/docs/minio-server-c ... guide.html
But my expectation is that it should work like before?
Setting the Region inside minio to us-east-1 does not change the behavior.
-> I've tried to set inside minio the Region name to "veeambackup", after this VBR access to object storage is possible and recovered.
Suspect to me is the region name change during the upgrade?
R&D is working on this....
