Backup Disk only have 2 restore points while Object storage has 10
I have a backup that has SMB and Amazon S3 repos.
I noticed that the SMB (Disk has only 2 restore points and the S3 Object storage has 16 restore points for each of the VMs) May I know how can i set the restore points to have atleast 10 restore points in the Disk SMB repo?
Also my backup configuration says the restore point is 14. Im just confused because why the object storage shows 16 restore points and the disk have only 2?
May I know how to set how many restore points a backup should have?
This is not the case on my other hyper-v because upon checking it has the same number of restore points. this is the only host im having some issue like this.

Look through the settings of the scale-out backup repository which is the target for this job. You will likely immediately see an explanation there on the Capacity Tier step as the above looks like you have the Move policy with an aggressive offload window configured.
This is controlled in the backup job settings (last screenshot above).angelolingad wrote: ↑Sep 13, 2021 3:24 pmMay I know how to set how many restore points a backup should have?

Hi Gostev,
Thank you for your response. Here is the SOBR capacity tier setup
It says 14 days so i am assuming that the disk backup also should have 14 restore points like the object storage right?

Do you have override policy configured (you can check this by clicking override button)? Also, the backups have not been moved to capacity tier manually, correct? Thanks!

Then I have to say that it looks a bit unexpected, as the next step I will kindly ask you to open a case with our support team and provide its number here. Thanks!
