Backup Immutability Limitations

Hi All,
I'm looking for clarity on limitations (if any) with the immutable flag that can be applied to the Capacity & Archive (S3) storage tiers, as I've not found anything concrete within the documentation.

I was aware from previous scans of the forums, that the recommendation was not to go beyond 31 days for the capacity tier with AWS S3 standard storage, but I'd like to know if there are any recommendations / best practices with the Archive tier - or if indeed backup immutability can be configured on long-term backups as long as necessary

For example, can a yearly restore point be made immutable for 10 years?
If so, is there any advice on how to provide a "best-effort" cost estimation for this?

Hi, Chris. Anything that goes to the Archive Tier is made immutable for the entire duration of its retention policy. You will see the corresponding note in the UI when configuring the object storage repository for the Archive Tier. There are no extra costs associated with this. Thanks!
