You will need to have:
- AWS Storage Gateway configured in VTL mode
- Tape jobs (either backup or file to tape ones) pointed to it
Thanks!

You cannot assign a repository role to AWS S3 Glacier. Aren't you confusing it with Capacity Tier functionality by any chance? Thanks!

Yes Veremin, I'm confusing
Now I check video and doc about this.
But VTL is only way for backup / copy VM and workstation to AWS?
Thanks for support

VTL is the only way we support Glacier at the moment.

To AWS Glacier - yes. However, you can leverage Capacity Tier to move old backups to Amazon S3. Thanks! But VTL is only way for backup / copy VM and workstation to AWS?

Re: Best practices for backup local + aws
Thanks guys
SO
with VTL and Aws storage gateway it's possibile to make Tape Backup Job and work on S3 Glacier
with S3 it's possible to create repository
Thinks it's all right
with S3 as repository it's also possible to copy all backup, not only Old backup?
If yes how, with Copy Job?
Thanks for support and suggest
