Best usage scenario for object storage over Cloud storage account/storage bucket?

I need some clarification and a usage scenario between using Object Storage vs. Cloud Storage account like https://wasabi.com/ or Azure Blob storage for Veeam backup repository.

When is the best to use and which storage technology is better?

My goal here is to eliminate OnPremise storage NAS usage for storing the backup.
