Hello,
I don't know how a schedule should help to save costs. Can you maybe explain?

Everything in a scale out repository (SOBR) is copied if you check the "copy" checkbox (which I assume you did)

I also recommend reading the FAQ: post338749.html#p338749

Best regards,
Hannes

Ty for your quick response
i am doing a full backup every week and also incremential . Meanwhile in the scale out repository , the backups were stored localy and also on azure .
i was wondering does azure folow the same Schedule meant for localy (if so i would like to not backup the full backup every week on the azure side maybe configure it apart or maybe change backup from every week to monthly backup) .
Any idea plz ?

"copy" means that you have exactly the same data on Azure like on-prem
i would like to not backup the full backup every week on the azure side
please check again the FAQ. We implemented an "incremental forever" approach. That means only one full backup is stored in object storage. All other data is stored in an incremental way.

Does that help?
