Hi,
Currently we are using our remote backup copy repository as the source from our replication jobs. In the near future we are moving our backup copies to S3 compatible storage. Is it possible to use this S3 compatible storage as the source for our replication jobs? Or else we need to transfer the data twice. Once for S3 and once for replication.

Re: Create replica’s from S3 storage
Hello,
only repositories can be source for a replication job: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100
There is no option to point to an object storage bucket directly.
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: Create replica’s from S3 storage
So if I point it to the the sobr it will always use the local storage present in there and never the S3 storage?

Re: Create replica’s from S3 storage
SOBR uses the local blocks first. If blocks are not available on performance tier, then it will download them to performance tier (except you put performance tier in maintenance mode).
