Disaster Recovery from cloud object storage

Post by yardbird »

Hi and thanks in advance for taking a look at my question.

So I would like to test our environment in the case of a desaster. We are using a SOBR for our Jobs with Azure Blob.

My objective is to restore a VM entirely from Azure to an isolated test environment. I have set up a new VBR and added the same Azure Object storage that gets used in the original SOBR but that doesnt seem to do the trick. Do i need to restore the entire config from the original VBR instance or what is needed in this case?

Thanks & Kind Regards,
Severin

Nothing else is needed, you did it all correctly. Just import backups from the object storage repository you added, and you will be good to go to perform restores. Thanks!
