Hi all,
We have a Veeam server that backs up a VMWare cluster (3 hosts 50 VMs) and also backs up a volume (directly on the backup server) where we robocopy 3TB of files from various file servers.
All backups run nightly and we have direct copy enabled to a tiering job connected to a Scale-out repo in Azure's Blob storage.
Now I want to see what options I have to recover as fast as possible would our DataCenter sustain a catastrophic failure (fire, terrorist attack,...).
I am thinking about setting up a Veeam backup server in Azure, restore the configuration data and use the blob storage to restore VMs, is that a feasible scenario? I have added a volume backup on the Backup job where the configuration backup is stored. In case I would need to recover it from a new VM in Azure, how would I find the conf backup in the Blob storage?

Re: DR Server
In this case you will need:
- Add object storage repository to Azure backup server
- Import backups from it (crucial step to allow access to backups stored in object storage)
- Restore configuration file from the imported backups
- Restore backup server configuration
Thanks!
