Hello - I've been testing an S3 capacity tier, and have written a few TB's up to the cloud. Now we are expanding our local storage capacity, and still plan on offloading the oldest backups to the capacity tier. Since the local storage will be expanded, we'd like to store more locally, and less on S3.
Say we have the setting "Move backups older than 100 days" set for the capacity tier. Now lets say those moved/offloaded backups are about 120 days old now. Then this setting is changed to maybe 200 days. What will happen to the backups in the capacity tier? Will they get moved back or stay? After local backups reach 200 days and it goes to offload, would there be any issues with these extra backups around up in the cloud?
Thanks!

Re: Expected behavior when changing "move backups older than x days" setting
This setting applies to backups stored on performance tier - how old should those backups be before being offloaded to object storage. The backups already offloaded to object storage will stay there unaffected by this setting change. No issues with such scenario. Thanks!
